12" Family Clocks

These 3 clocks are all very similar, going to 3 different families...
This is a classic look that can fit into almost any decor, a GREAT option for a gift for someone else! Add their family name to personalize it just for them & I love the detail that the double black circles add around the edge!

Congratulations!!!

I had fun making this clock for Tanner & Chaya's Wedding Gift!
They wanted black, white & silver & this is what they came up with for the design...
It is hard to tell with the flash...but the BIG A, the hands, the numbers & minute dashes are all in WHITE & the "Allen" and "May 23, 2008" are in silver.

Congratulations on tieing the knot you two! I had a lot of FUN making this clock for you!!!

Wedding Gift

A customized clock is the pefect wedding gift!
I made this one for my soon to be sister-in-law's wedding shower giftIt is hard to tell in the picture, but the numbers & B are white & the Brinton, marriage date & clock hands are SILVER

Philips 3 foot clock

This 3 foot clock was made for a good friend of mine. They recently moved into a new home & needed something above their fridge in their kitchen. This clock looks great up there, with their high ceilings!

Thanks for the order Jenny!

MORE IDEAS...

This was a 4 foot clock, so we had room for a favorite quote AND the family name & marriage date. She wanted the Roman Numerals straight up and down instead of in a circle.

Many people like the way that the double circles look, around the minute dashes

12" Kids Clocks
For the Green & Pink ones, I just decopauged scrapbook paper on!
The possibilities for color & design are endless with scrapbook paper!
(only works for a 12" clock)

Display for a Craft Enrichment Night I taught

The crackle effect is fun & makes the clock look antiqued
For this clock, they sent me the Monogram for their friend's wedding & I duplicated it onto the clock & they gave it to their friends as a wedding gift. You can do this with any design or business logo.

"Always & Forever" - I LOVE this quote, if you don't know what to put on your clock!

Clean & Simple. No Texture-Brown Stain with Dark Brown Vinyl.

Fun Saying for your clock!
This is a 3 foot clock, so we had room for a longer quote.

Crackle Clock with Roman Numerals.
With Roman Numerals you have the option of laying them in a CIRCLE, instead of having them all stand straight up & down.

Her husband served his mission in Bristol, Englad & the Est. date is when that mission was established. Cute idea!!

Here is another one where the Roman Numerals go in a circle around the clock.

It is hard to tell on this clock, but she wanted a touch of blue, so the color that shows through on the crackle is BLUE & I painted the outer edge BLUE as well, so it would match her house!
This was a wedding gift for my friend APRIL:)
I sent it to her in Utah, so it traveled without the hands...since they are so fragile!
Tan Glaze Wash-No Texture.
I just made this for a BABY BOY GIFT BASKET that someone was giving to a friend. He had an ABC's Nursery & his name was "River", so I wanted to do a "R" in the center.

4 FOOT CLOCK

This was the 1st FOUR FOOT CLOCK I have made.
It was quite the project, but a lot of fun!
This customer let me be a little creative with the project, only requesting a few specifics...including their family name & Est. 1970.
This is a textured, slightly crackled finish, with a brown oil glaze over the top.
Both "Barney" & "Est. 1970" are in Scriptina Font.

Allen Clock Co.

This is the clock hanging in my own home. I love the tan and black against my red wall. This 36" clock is entirely hand-painted and accented with our family name. This clock has a textured surface and the crackle-effect.

Welch

This 36" tan clock has a black base coat with black accents. The roman numerals and lettering are vinyl, while the remainder of the clock is hand-painted. Welch is their family name and 1993 was the year they were married. Font for roman numerals is: Bon Appetit
Font for lettering & Est. date is: Script MT Bold

The Wolt's

This 24" clock is tan with chocolate brown numbers and the crackle-effect. This family wanted a lighter-tan colored "W" behind their family name. The numbers and lettering are vinyl and the rest of the clock is hand-painted.

Barba & Co.

This 24" clock was ordered as a Christmas gift for their family. They requested the tan clock with crackle-effect(very popular, because it goes with a variety of decor). They requested their family name, year of marriage and the saying, "Families are Timeless" This clock was hand-painted, except for the numbers and lettering, which are black vinyl. They wanted a tint of RED, so I did a RED WASH over the top, to give it a slight hit of red.

Brinton Clock Co.

This family requested a 36" tan-crackle clock with black accents, but they wanted to tie in red somehow. We decided to make the roman numerals red. They added their family name for personalization and it now hangs above their fireplace. This entire clock is hand-painted.
